Telegram(Telegram即时聊天) is the fastest-growing messaging platform in the world and the second most popular after WhatsApp. Now, Telegram has introduced animated emojis for all users on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and the web. These fun new additions to your chats are sure to make you smile!

Telegram is a cloud-based instant messaging service that was launched by Telegram Messenger LLP, a non-profit company based in Berlin, Germany. The app is available for all major platforms including Windows Phone and the Apple Watch. The app is currently only available in English but will be translated into dozens of languages throughout 2016.

Telegram(Telegram聊天应用程序) has 200 million monthly active users and has surpassed WhatsApp as the second most popular messaging platform after Facebook Messenger (which has 700 million monthly active users). Telegram’s popularity stems from its speed: it claims to be able to process messages 50 times faster than SMS or e-mail because they are not stored on servers but instead sent directly between two people’s devices at any given time. This means you can send large files even if your friend doesn’t have enough storage space on their phone or tablet (and they don’t need an internet connection either).

In addition to these emojis, Telegram has launched its GIF search engine which allows users to find and send GIFs from across the internet within its app. The GIF search engine is available on all of the Telegram’s mobile apps and desktop apps.

The new animated Emoji feature will be rolled out globally across the iOS, Android, and desktop versions of the messaging platform in the coming weeks.

Animated emoticons were added as part of the update

Telegram is the fastest-growing messaging app in the world, with more than 100 million active users. It’s also the second most popular messaging app on Android and iOS, after Facebook Messenger.

Telegram is the only messaging app to offer a cloud-based service for free: Telegram Passport can be used for signing up to websites or mobile apps and storing personal information like your photo, ID card scans, and bank statement photos.

Telegram is also the most secure messaging app because it uses end-to-end encryption by default, meaning that nobody except you and your recipient can read what’s being sent across its servers or stored on them—not even Telegram itself.
